IPHM Beauty Terms and Conditions for Affiliate Members

Introduction
By applying for IPHM Beauty Affiliate membership, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and accept our Code of Ethics. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and IPHM Beauty.
IPHM Beauty is a specialist accreditation service operating under International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), a trading name of Holistic Therapy Services Ltd. We are an independent accreditation board, not a regulatory body or training provider.
What IPHM Beauty Affiliate Membership Is
Affiliate membership is for companies and platforms that deliver high-quality beauty and wellness training entirely online, without formal assessment elements such as case studies or marked practical work.
Affiliate courses are endorsed as IPHM Beauty Affiliated rather than IPHM Beauty Accredited. Your students complete an IPHM Beauty Affiliated Course, and their certificates carry the IPHM Beauty Affiliate Member mark.
A Note on Invasive Procedures and Aesthetics
IPHM Beauty does not endorse or affiliate any online training in invasive beauty therapy, aesthetics, or injectables. This includes Botox, dermal fillers, weight loss injections, and any other invasive aesthetic procedure.
This exclusion applies regardless of tutor qualifications. Online only training is not an appropriate format for invasive procedures, and we will not approve these courses for affiliate membership.
Course Criteria
Only courses that meet the following criteria will be eligible for IPHM Beauty Affiliate endorsement.
Courses must have:
❋ Clear learning objectives and outcomes ❋ Content that is structured coherently and delivers genuine educational value ❋ A means of supporting students to complete the course, whether that is tutor support, feedback, or learning reviews
Copyright and course content
You confirm that you hold full copyright for all course material you submit, or that you have full permission to use any third-party content. Copyright infringement is taken seriously. All course material must have been written by you, written for you, or used with explicit permission.
Online and distance learning
You confirm that your course content is unique to your platform or that you have full permission to use it. As noted above, no invasive beauty therapy or aesthetics training will be accepted for online affiliate endorsement.

Issuing Student Certificates
Before awarding a student a certificate carrying the IPHM Beauty Affiliate mark, the following must be met:
❋ The student must have completed a minimum of 20 questions or learning reviews throughout the course ❋ Certificates must make clear that the student has completed a course endorsed by IPHM Beauty, not a course written or offered by IPHM Beauty ❋ Only courses shown on your approved listing may be issued with IPHM Beauty Affiliate certificates. Do not use the certificate creator for any course that has not been pre-approved. To add a new course, submit a request via your dashboard
Important: Your qualified students are not IPHM Beauty accredited practitioners unless they have personally subscribed to IPHM Beauty and completed their own application. If your students wish to join IPHM Beauty as accredited practitioners, they must contact us directly.
Platform Requirements
You must ensure that you have the following in place for your students:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclaimer
We support innovation and understand that many providers use AI as part of their content creation process. If your courses contain AI-generated content, you must be transparent about this with your students.
The following disclaimer must be displayed on your website or course platform where applicable:
IPHM Beauty ensures that all affiliate members' course content is thoroughly reviewed and confirmed to be informative and of a high standard. Some courses may contain AI-generated content to enhance the learning experience. While these courses provide valuable information, IPHM Beauty cannot guarantee a qualification, job placement, or any specific outcome. We recommend that students read all terms and conditions and policies carefully before enrolling.
Referral Payments
IPHM Beauty offers a referral programme for affiliate members. A referral payment of £10 will be made for each student you refer who is accepted as an IPHM Beauty member.
Referral payments are subject to the following conditions:
❋ Referral details, including the referred member's name or IPHM number, must be included on the application form ❋ Payments are only made to current, active members whose membership is up to date ❋ Referral fees are paid three times a year, within the first two weeks of April, August, and December ❋ IPHM Beauty reserves the right to remove a member from the referral scheme if found to be in breach of our Code of Ethics or Terms and Conditions, or if we believe the scheme is being misused
Complaints
All student complaints must be handled professionally in line with your internal complaints procedure.
IPHM Beauty will only mediate if a complaint is unresolved due to an inability to reach a mutually agreeable outcome, or if you have refused to handle the complaint. Anyone wishing to make a complaint about an IPHM Beauty affiliate member must first contact you directly. Only if this is not resolved within 28 days should they request an IPHM Beauty complaints form.
IPHM Beauty reserves the right to suspend or withdraw affiliate endorsement depending on the nature and severity of a complaint and the number of complaints lodged against a member. No refund will be issued if a complaint is upheld.
Use of the IPHM Beauty Affiliate Mark and Branding
❋ You may use the IPHM Beauty Affiliate mark and logo to promote your endorsed courses while your membership is active and in good standing ❋ You must not use the IPHM Beauty logo on certificates for courses that have not been pre-approved ❋ The IPHM Beauty logo and branding must not be altered or used in a way that implies you are part of the IPHM organisation ❋ If your membership is suspended, expired, or cancelled, you must immediately remove all IPHM Beauty branding from your website, platform, social media, and promotional materials
Misuse of the IPHM Beauty trustmark or logo may result in legal action.
Payment Terms, Renewals, and Cancellations
❋ Membership fees may be paid annually or via monthly instalments ❋ Membership renews automatically unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date ❋ Refunds are only issued if IPHM Beauty declines your application before endorsement is granted ❋ Once endorsed, no refunds will be issued even if your membership is cancelled or withdrawn ❋ If you cancel during a fixed-term agreement, an Early Termination Charge may apply equal to the remaining monthly payments ❋ If monthly payments are not made on time, IPHM Beauty has the right to request the full outstanding balance ❋ It is your responsibility to cancel any third-party subscription payments such as PayPal
Regulatory and Legal Changes
IPHM Beauty reserves the right to amend or remove courses from our directory if laws or government regulations change. You will be asked to confirm agreement with any updated terms the next time you log into your dashboard. It is your responsibility to check these terms regularly for any updates that may affect your listing.
Limitation of Liability
IPHM Beauty accepts no liability for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the courses, services, or conduct of its affiliate members. Affiliate endorsement is based solely on submitted documentation and does not constitute a guarantee of course quality, safety, or student outcome.
IPHM Beauty holds no responsibility to students who have received certificates or training should the affiliate member not abide by our Terms and Conditions or Code of Ethics.
Non-Transferability
Affiliate membership and endorsement apply only to the company or organisation named in the application. They are non-transferable and may not be shared, sublicensed, or transferred to another entity.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Confirmation Statement
By submitting your application to IPHM Beauty, you confirm that the following statements are true and accurate:
❋ You hold full copyright for all course material submitted, or have full permission to use it ❋ You only offer training that is legal and permitted in your country ❋ Your courses meet the IPHM Beauty criteria for learning objectives, structure, and student support ❋ You issue certificates only after students have completed the required learning reviews or assessments ❋ You have the following in place for your students:
❋ Complaints procedure ❋ Refund and cancellation policy ❋ Terms and Conditions ❋ Privacy Policy ❋ Data protection protocols
❋ You have read, understood, and agree to abide by IPHM Beauty's Terms and Conditions and Code of Ethics
Members agree to these terms on submission of application and on renewal, and should check back regularly for updates.
